Way to Go Minnesota

Nice work Minnesota. There he is, your new senator.

Even though he hemorrhaged many liberal voters who backed O.B.A.M.A. in the PRM (Peoples Republic of Minnesota), he still managed to steal enough votes from liberal election judges to win the election. Never mind that different standards were applied to different counties, liberals only complain about that when [they think] it affects them.

The Supreme Court of PRM will be of no help to us and the U.S. Supreme Court will likely choose not to hear the case, so I'm calling this one today for Steward Smalley.

The thing that amazes me the most is just how starstruck Minnesotans are when at the voting booth. I mean, even I fell for Ventura's charade, but I learned my lesson. As "W" would try to say "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." Shame on the fools of Minnesota.

Oh well, what can you do? Next time Senator Smalley won't be able to ride the coattails of the big "O" to stay in office. He might be good enough and smart enough, but doggone it, people just don't like him.

The Most Delusional Person on the Planet

Sometimes you don't even need to look any further than the title...here is the USA Today headline: "Obama considers climate engineering to cool globe".

How much more freaky and draconian does it get than that?? Now O.B.A.M.A. thinks he knows what's best for the whole world, and he is going to fix it.

The actual story is mostly the result of an interview with John Holdren by the AP. I'm sure this guy is extremely smart, but he sounds an awful lot like chicken little. According to the USA Today article, "Twice in a half-hour interview, Holdren compared global warming to being "in a car with bad brakes driving toward a cliff in the fog."

I think I share my opinion of his views with John Tierney "Does being spectacularly wrong about a major issue in your field of expertise hurt your chances of becoming the presidential science advisor? Apparently not". Good thing this president is so much better than the last one at picking his friends.

Common Sense Political Action

The funny thing about common sense is that it isn't so common.

Great now I have nothing left to rant about...

Thanks to my dad for the heads up on this guy!

Common Sense Economics: Cramer vs. Obama

Has anyone gotten tired of turning on the news every night to see Barack Obama going on and on about how bad things are and how much worse they are going to get if we don't act now to support his latest big government power grab? Well Jim Cramer has.

Jim Cramer hosts CNBC's "Mad Money". He is a democrat. He used to give money to democrats, a lot of money. In fact, he still would if his media contract allowed.

But he is also well versed in economics, and in this challenging time, common sense dictates that this fact trumps political affiliation.

Cramer has said that President Obama’s agenda “is crushing nest eggs around the country.” “Obama has undeniably made things worse by creating an atmosphere of fear and panic rather than an atmosphere of calm and hope.”

These and other statements have gotten him on the Obama administration's "enemies list", a distinction he shares with Rush Limbaugh.

Now there is change we can all believe in.

Welcome to common sense world. This is the place where modern events will be held up to the light of common sense to see where in the hell things are going wrong. There doesn't seem to have ever been a better time to chime in with a little common sense on all things politics, pop culture and current events. Buckle up and have fun!
